I am SO glad to hear this. I know young men his age are not keen on getting cops involved, for whatever reason - honour, pride, male stuff - but an assault with great bodily harm does need to be reported. The next guy may not be so lucky as Ian and then you'll have 4 kids with murder charges instead of assault.
