(no subject)

It's starting to get hot again, I'm glad I'm not in Perth! They are having some really hot days. I am working today, and thursday and Kim asked me to work for her on Friday, I thought I would be only working one day this week. It's ok I can use the extra cash. And my office has air conditioning and I'm sure i"m going to be digging that by the end of the week. I have Maryjanes and Torfinn's birthdays coming up. In fact Maryjane's is on the 14th. I wish the kids were closer to me. Like right down the street. ;)
Not sure what Ian will do with himself this afternoon, I know he gets bored hanging here around the house. But before long the break is over and he is off the high school, and crickett starts off again. I wonder if we are going to be going to another grand finals. His team was in the lead going into the break but still anything can happen as they are just 1/2 through the season.

IAN SAW A BROWN SNAKE TODAY!

He and his 2 friends were walking home from the river and it was laying across the road. Ian said it was about 1 meter long (just a small one) and bright brown. His friend was the 1st to spot it and just grabbed Ians arm telling him at the same time "dont move" there was a car coming as the snake was very slowly moving from one side of the road to the other , the kids asked the driver to help them as they needed to get home. The driver of the car pulled up by the snake and scared the snake into the bush for them. ACK! If I would have been there I would be (dead heart attack for sure!). But Ian said it was really a cool looking snake. He does know how dangerous they are so yeah he won't go close to one ever. The 2nd most venomous
(or poisinous) snake in the world. Just crawling across the road on a sunny day in Canberra Australia, less then
1/2 mile from where I live. Edit: Ok maybe not the 2nd but the 4th or something like that, it might as well be the 1st as far as I'm concerned.
