I met and had a long really good conversation with a man from Syria today, he 1st asked me if I was English as he didn't recognize my accent. After I explained I was from the US he told me where he was from. He could speak English very well but sometimes struggled for the right words. I really enjoy meeting people from places I would never think of. We shook hands as he was off to catch a plane. We talked about our disappointment with our governments. He feels Lebanon is his neighbour and doesn't agree with the occupation. It's the 3rd millennium he said, things should be different now. He had the most beautiful eyes, sorta greenish but hard to explain. Anyway I always feel up lifted after a conversation like that.

Tomorrow I have another job interview but still no word from Dima about my residency, I'm having to let to many wonderful jobs slip by. I want a real job! This interview is with Dfat, Department of foreign affairs and trade. It would be a great job. But I'm not holding my breath, thanks Dima!
