Sever's Disease
Named after James W. Sever, an U.S. orthopedist 1878-1964
Apophysitis of the calcaeus in adolescent children who are actively engaged in sports. This overuse syndrome is best treated with icing. Achilles tendon stretching, anti-inflammatory meds and rest from weight bearing.
Heel lifts are usually used unless the child has pronated feet, in which case medial heel wedges are indicated.

Ian has the wedges at this point, but today he is in bed and in some serous pain. I think it started Friday at the school sports carnival, then playing Saturday in part of the footy game, Monday PE, and walking 2 K's back to the school and then the walk up the hill home, His doctor said far to much to soon. So No Sports or running or PE for 2 weeks for him.

They is nothing wrong with Ren, she maybe had a bad start but is sure making up for it now, she is a wild little thing, trying to pull out the tail feathers of Stimpy, kicking her food everywhere and flying like a bat out of hell around this house, she's got spirit!

I keep checking the mail for my DIMA papers but nothing yet, can we say ridiculous?

I want to post some photos but it never seems I have time, I've got plenty of Laundry to do today (Yes I have a day off)
HI TO CARL AND ANNA!!!! (I suck at emailing)

I'm sure I'll be updating again today, keep the peace!
