1st story on the news shows this morning was about Paris Hilton ALL CHANNELS!
How many people died in Iraq overnight? and the 1st thing we hear about is paris hilton!

HAHA Americablog didn't like it either

Okay, I never thought we'd ever talk about Paris Hilton on AMERICAblog, but the Today Show just devoted its first story to Paris Hilton's jail sentence. Not like there's anything else going on. Matt Lauer interviewed MSNBC's Dan Abrams about every development....then Lauer had the audacity to mock Abrams asking if MSNBC would be cover the story at all today. Cause only MSNBC would obsess about this ridiculousness -- after Lauer made it the TOP story. There is just so much wrong with this story.

Hey, Today Show, by the way, the surging death toll in Iraq surpassed 3,500 yesterday. But, that's not real news.
