Well Ian had his appointment this morning and the specialist is going to consult a surgeon, and get back to us. He noticed that Ian still has a growth plate and said that he believes we should just wait and see if it heals on it's own......HMMMM we all saw the x-ray. But anyway
he said that it will require surgery at some point in the future. So he will want a x-ray again in about a month to see if the ends of the bones are showing any signs of healing. They aren't going to knit themselves together the way they are now though. He poked and prodded at the area to see if there was pain. And yes he did find some points that made Ian very uncomfortable

And if that's not bad enough when I got home from work Ian was sleeping in my bed running a fever, 39.4 to be exact! (that's 103)
poor kid has had a rough day. I gave him some ibuprofen (wouldn't have if it was 102) but 103 is just a little to high for my likening.
I was worried about food poisoning to start with because he had Eggs Benedict and Salmon for breakfast after we saw the doctor, but I think
it is virus related now.
Any how it's going to be a long night.
