Thanks dadi!

Thanks to a great idea from dadi I looked up the ole family name on Facebook and
found the daughter of a distant cousin, whom I met during my visit to Norway We've chatted back and
forth throughout the evening. It's so cool and for your information mom it's Brit and Par's daughter.
She even called her grandmother and yes her grandmother remembered me from all those years ago

Now I'm all excited! Hip is better except when I try to get in and out of the car, or stand up from sitting. Paul's massaging is doing miracles
Now if I can sleep I'll be very happy

Fathers day

Today was fathers day here in Australia.
Paul decided he would do some yard work this morning and got bit by a Huntsman spider (remember that huge spider you saw when you were here mom)? It got him right on the pad of his thumb. He picked up a pile of weeds he had pulled and it was hidden in the pile. It did draw blood though
Lesson learned, never garden without gloves on. He's ok it's just a big spider without dangerous venom.

Since Gabby spent the day with us and I didn't take any photos, Ian gave me a few he had so I could show grandma a few
