The last two days have been a whirlwind, I guess I'll start at Regatta point where all of Ian's friends met up to have photos taken together by me along with all the hot cars they were going in. I guess for the boys that's about the best part of the whole event. So we took photos and Paul and I rushed to the Convention Center so we would get their early enough to photograph them arriving in their cars. Wow there were so many beautiful cars! Mercs, Lamborghini's, Porches, Lots of fast Honda's, Mustangs, but MY favorite was the Lexus Hybrid! OMG it was beautiful! Ian was in a S2000 that belongs to a boy I work with. It's a show car with 3 tv screens!!! Crazy. When Paul and I got there we ran into Ian's girlfriend and we stood waiting like waiting for the stars on the red carpet at the Oscars. It was pretty cool and I'm guessing a couple of hundred people were there many snapping pictures. Ian was just about the last to arrive, it was a huge build up I tell you. We spent another 15 minutes snapping photos and conversing with people. It was just a really cool Atmosphere until we started to leave. Ian and his class mates had made there way into the Hall for a night of Dinner and Dancing.
We were almost back to the car when suddenly a fight had broken out between to young girls, I just couldn't walk away as I noticed all these guys cheering them on and videoing them with their phones. I got as close as I could to them and tried talking to them. One was not fighting back and the other was just punching her over and over again. They were moving all over the parking lot and I started to grab at the more violent girls arm, some creeping looking jerk yelled out don't touch my sister. Anyway they had pulled away from me and were closer to paul as he tried to grab the same girl the guy came up behind him and got right in his face yelling I'll punch you man, Paul just stood there and didn't back down he was so ready to let it go, The guy just looked at him chest out and all cocky and backed down.
it was just a crazy scene with a crowd gathered by this point. I was turning around and found myself stepping on the girls foot. I had no idea she was behind me. I thought I was going to get clobbered. But she said sorry to me. And went back to yelling at the other girl whom seemed not to have any idea why she was being Attacked. The violent girl jumped in a car with her brother jumping on the back and covering the license plate with his legs. She pulled out and started to speed out of the very crowed parking lot and hit a guy that jumped in front of her car. He bounced up on the hood and broke her windshield OMG this was insane. Her brother jumped off the back and got in the car as she continued to drive crazy to get out. I got some photos but I was freaking out and they are somewhat blurry. If the Police need them I think they can make them out ok. It was a wild adrenalin rush and the guy that broke the windshield appeared ok but I bet he is damn sore this morning.
More of the story later we are going to watch a movie now. =)
