The 1st term of ninth grade was almost over, I was modeling the "Hot Pants" outfit I had made in sewing class (sounds silly now)
(We even had to walk the cat walk at our yearly Junior High fashion show). They so tried to teach us to be good little women back then.
Darwin Morris was my first ever boyfriend. We went to different schools but still saw as much as possible of each other for about a year. I was 14 years old and look at all the hair piled up on my head. I can't remember if mother took this photo before or after the fashion show but I seem to have those Barrel curls in many different "Dress up" photos. Why didn't someone tell me to cut my hair a little?? Or just not do the "up-do" And omg look at that white belt Darwin was wearing!!! I hope he didn't grow up to be a used car sales man
I wonder what ever happened to Darwin.

We sure looked corny.

I think you both look sweet and styling for the times. I hhave an older sister who must be about the same age and I use to steal her cloths and wear them around my neighborhood! He is such a cutie, I agree, you should google him, put his name in quotes and add your home town.

Actually you both look pretty good to me in that photo. Not surprisingly, that fashion seems to have resurfaced. Your jacket is pretty cool, and I think a lot of guys look like Darwin these days, maybe add some unruly facial hair and you will have your average young male.
