Ok so is everyone clear on the Budget

if not here is the break down of Bush's Budget
looks like the war and homeland security oh and border patrol wins and Environmental Protection and Parks, Faith-Based Programs, Medicare and Medicaid, Justice Department, Poverty Programs are the really big losers

And yet LSTA funding (Library Services and Technology Act) actually increased from the current amount.

Of course, last FY's budget was never passed by Congress so everything is on a continuing resolution (e.g. same money as the year before last).

It's not likely that this one will pass either...

They don't want to solve poverty because that is their greatest source of new army recruits. And why support medicare. People just live longer and cost more. Justice? What's that?
